Bergé Infraestructuras y Servicios Logísticos (BISL) acquires the Galician Bonifacio Logares

Bergé Infraestructuras y Servicios Logísticos (BISL) has acquired Bonifacio Logares, S.A., founded in 1945, operating as agent and customs broker from the ports of Vigo and Marin. With a strong integration into the port and business communities of both cities, Bonifacio Logares has worked closely with Bergé, since 1963, in the development of maritime business in both Galician ports.

According to Juan Aguirre, CEO of BISL, "Our close collaboration in almost fifty years with a well-known company in our sector has resulted in the purchase transaction, very beneficial to both parties". Bonifacio Logares acquisition means for BISL strengthen its leadership position in the shipping business in Vigo, where he excels in logistics and stevedoring activity vehicle (more than 425,000 in 2010) and ro-ro, as well as the volume of vessels recorded (500 in 2010). Furthermore, also boost the freight forwarding and customs clearance broker BISL.
